Antibiotic resistance is the world’s third biggest killer, contributing to more than five million deaths each year. Poor and vulnerable people are hit hardest by these drug-resistant infections. Wounds that Won’t Heal is a collaboration between the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism. It aims to show the devastating reality of the global superbug crisis through the many people behind the statistics.
